We had imported his profile from before (when it worked). What Dragon options would affect this feature?

I'm assuming you have your Dragon options set appropriately and the user is using the microphone on and microphone off commands to change the status by voice. Since you've done the repair, you may want to try creating a new user profile and see if this restores the .wav file functions with the mic. If this is a Win 7 laptop make sure that the 'onboard' mic has been disabled (this is a known Win 7 bug whereby the onboard mic isn't muted when an external mic is plugged in). At the time, we had JAWS/J-Say, etc. all set up perfectly .... unfortunately when he got a new laptop and new version of JAWS, his settings weren't transferred I don't think. His voice profile was transferred though.Prior, we had it set that when he said "Wake up", there would be a"dong!"sound to let him know it had responded. We have it set to echo his commands, but to be sure, he still has to say "Check microphone".Does anyone know how to set it so it makes a sound when awakening or goingto sleep? We have J-Say sounds enabled.Secondly, it keeps saying "less than, greater" when he isn't dictating butthe microphone is on (it's speaking what is showing in the dictation box). That's very distracting and annoying when he's trying to think about what to type. It didn't do that before. How do we change that?We have "echo commands" on, which is very helpful to him, and we had thatpreviously, but didn't have it saying "less than, greater" every second over and over.Thanks for any help!
