[j-say list] a problem

Hi,
I am working with someone to teach him to use Jaws, Dragon and J-Say but it
seems that the delay for J-say to process any command is too long. It is 16 to
20 seconds long. Also another problem that I am having is that jaws keep saying
<><> when J-say is on.
Does anyone know what could be the reason and what can I do to resolve these
issues?
