Hello Brian. Do we have a command that will open the default configuration manager or do we still have to do that with the keyboard? -----Original Message----- From: j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-say-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Brian Hartgen Sent: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 1:52 PM To: j-say@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-say list] Re: New command request [was Few Issues) The jaws one. Could "Jaws configuration mmanager" be a new command/feature? There are still so many things I have to do with my hands at the moment. Just to clarify, I'm not having the issues described in the previous messages, I do, however, need to go to the Jaws configuration manager sometimes. Thanks. Launch Microsoft Word 2007. 2. Press Insert+6 for Configuration Manager. 3. Press ALT+S for Set Options, then T for Text Processing. 4. Press Shift+Tab repeatedly and you will note there are a number of Check Boxes related to whether the term "new line" is announced. Uncheck these, then press Enter, followed by Control+S to save the file. Does that solve the problem for you? Have you tried training the "Confirm That" command? If that does not work, go into the command browser, select Script, select Dragon NaturallySpeaking Spell, select Confirm That and delete it. Does that make a difference? When I say Speak Document, JSay is saying "New Line" each time it gets to a new line. I checked JAWS verbosity settings and couldn't see anything that seemed to trigger this. Also, I believe I saw another post on this, but when I use the "Switch to" command it doesn't seem to recognize the command at all. Switch to next window does work, but takes longer. Finally, experiencing strange behavior with the Correction box. It takes three utterances of Confirm that to put the corrected text into the document. Saying Click Ok works on the first go each time. Anyone experience any of these things? thanks, Harris
