Hi Brian,

This is the error message I get when I start the PC or try to start dragon
without having J-say installed!

From what you wrote I guess you suggest to me to get the DNS V. 11 with my
setup of Windows 7 and Office 2010 to achieve full functionality and avoid
technical startup errors?

Dragon NaturallySpeaking graphic 798

The file C:\Windows\speech\speech.dll is version 4.0.4.2109. Closegraphic
603 NaturallySpeaking requires version 4.0.4.2512 to run reliably. You may

be able to correct this problem by restarting your computer or by

reinstalling NaturallySpeaking before launching it the next time.

Hi Arne

First lets address the Dragon problem. At what stage please are you getting
this error, when you start the Dragon program? Can you please send the exact
error to us?

Secondly, J-Say 8.1 functions with Office 2010. You would need Dragon V11
for that.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have just got myself a Windows 7 machine. When the Dragon 10.1 was
installed I got a dll error saying that I needed to restart the computer or
reinstall the software again. Have anyone else got this? Is there several
dll versions related to dragon for V 10.1

I downloaded the DNS install file directly from Nuance before installing it
on the computer.

When I restart the computer I keep getting the same error message again,
have not reinstalled the whole program though.

Will the current J-say version work with office 2010?

Subject: [j-say list] JSay Shortcuts

Hello, All

I am trying to store a contact from a email message I received and can't
seem to get it to work. From an open message, I used the commands "copy
email address", which echoed that back to me, then with the message still
open and also while it is closed "store contact". Which then announced
nothing was copied to the clipboard.

Second, as I tried to delete a shortcut using the command "select a contact
to delete", then selecting the contact from the list then confirm, the
entire list was deleted, Not sure why this happened, but is there a way to
restore this list?

Finally, is there a way to edit an email address for a shortcut that was
stored?

Thanks for all your assistance.

Sandy
