Hi
this is a SATA disc .. not PATA (original parallel ATA)
certainly I'd like to get sata going.. no time promises ATM though

connector. The data lines are similarly fine, 7 of them, the other end of
which goes onto a similar male on the motherboard.
My question is: if this is the new standard, will new Iyonix m/bs be
equipped with the new connections? Perhaps this is not yet common, but it
made me wonder what will happen if a hard-disc needs replacement in the
future. Perhaps there is an adaptor ATA > Standard?
