[iyonix-support] Additional Filer Menu-option

It happens to me often that when something goes wrong a file is left open,
despite the best efforts of programmers, myself included, to avoid it.

I detect this when I try to delete an incomplete file, and get an error
message.

When this happens, I load Ian Hamilton's excellent CloseIt application,
find the offending file, close it, and try again.

Now the filer knows what the file is called, what its filehandle is and so
forth. Why can there not be a filer-menu option to close the file?

OK, it would need an 'Are you really sure' confirm box to protect the
unwary, but it seems to me to be a natural and useful extension to the
filer itself.

Could this be considered as an extension for RISC OS 5.<next>?
