Check this comparison - it does not appear XP home can have a computer account, 
but it can access domain resources.

I have a client that has roving laptop users who need to get access to the
local AD domain on win2k server.Can anyone tell me how to set up xp home
edition to logon the local domain?? Is it true that xp home cannot have a
computer account in the AD domain?
