XP HOME is for internet access only. You can not network this OS with
other OS.

The write-up of xp home is for home computing with Internet
connectivity. I tried to hook a XP prof and W2K pro with XP home using
workgroup and I never had the luck to seek the network neighborhood from
XP HOME.

Check this comparison - it does not appear XP home can have a computer
account, but it can access domain resources.

I have a client that has roving laptop users who need to get access to
the
local AD domain on win2k server. Can anyone tell me how to set up xp home
edition to logon the local domain?? Is it true that xp home cannot have
a
computer account in the AD domain?

Thanks Jim
