:) Andrew, Andrew, Andrew: Some advice...... have a beer, get a girl and ride a
fire engine; but don't insult people who can't reach you.
I was scripting my post for the amusement and reading pleasure of Jim and Tom
(and not nec. directed at you). Follow the context please!

However, HOWEVER - I did in fact experience this problem myself about 6 months
ago. And posted a similar question to this list and received no productive
response as well. Frustrated and impatient, I accidentally read Microsoft's
Help messages from the failure, and followed their recommendations.
Embarrassingly enough, the silly thing worked.

I will bet you (the beer or the girl or the ride on the fire engine) that your
problems are originating from IE and/or ISA settings. I will be at that site on
Thursday, and will be happy to review the IT log book for you and share the
resolution with you; if you haven't already figured it out.

LOL what a moron, show me in Tom's book were it explains anything about using
Windows Update on your ISA 2004 Server.

1) I have his book, even a extra copied which was signed by him personally.

2) The issue in question only happened after MS updated Windows Update to
v6.

3) The Error code I get is 0x80072EE2.

4) I can see ISA connecting to Microsoft via the logs, don't see anything
out of the ordinary.

If you have a hard time reading and understanding this Joseph I think you need
to go back to kindergarten were you belong, I just hope they put the dunce cap
on your head the first day; it suits you well.

Andrew

Windows Update doesn't work for me anymore on ISA 2004 Server since MS
updated it placing a new icon in the start menu. ISA 2004 goes to
Windows Update website and never makes pass the scanning process without
giving an error message. Is there away to fix this?

Thanks
Andrew
