actually, RDP traffic is, depending on how you configured your server, encrypted alread. If I remember right it uses an MD4 hash or something like that. however, because I don't like my terminal server ports sitting open, I have done exactly as you have described. Set up my ISA server to act as a PPTP server, and I do all my TS work over that connection. I feel pretty comfortable that its secure. -Jay Mobley -----Original Message----- From: student2003@xxxxxxx [mailto:student2003@xxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2002 11:43 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] VPN to IAS then Term Server http://www.ISAserver.org If we set up a VPN (PPTP)to IAS then Term Server would RDP security exist over the whole connection? (i.e. inside the VPN PPTP tunnet) thanks! ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jmobley@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
