SSL High Port Publishing Issue

I have a LAN-based web server with HTTPS running on port 37888. I created
an "HTTPS High" protocol definition, and Server-published from the ISA
external adapter to internal web server IP number.

I opened IE on the ISA box and went to "https://192.168.100.12:37888"; and IE
says "The Page cannot be displayed". If I use IE to go to
"https://internalserver:37888"; then the page opens properly. If I use IE
from an internet host to go to "https://dns.address.com:37888"; I also get
"The Page cannot be displayed". There are no Event Log or W3Svc errors.

This prevents me from using ISA to server-publish the site because for some
reason ISA won't touch the internal server when an IP number is used.

What did I miss? I need to publish this SSL site on a high port number.

Thanks.
