Last week i sold an ISA Server 2000 and told my customer to buy SA. I guess ISA
2004 is worth the additional bucks! =0)
Since they're a university, it was hella cheap!

See, this is what I mean when I say Microsoft has done a lot of people wrong
when they took away upgrade pricing.
The expected price for this is $1499.
There is no upgrade price.
Microsoft wants to push SA.
However, SA for ISA 2000 is about $575.
$575 times 3 years is $1725.
So, if you listen to their sales pitches about SA, you just wasted $226.
How can any business afford to just throw away older versions of software, as
that is exactly what Microsoft is asking you to do, stating it has no value?

I have a client that I would love to put ISA 2004 when it comes out, but I
could not wait 18 months for it, so they purchased ISA 2000. Now what, do I
tell them to just throw that version away and purchase a new version?
