Hi Mike,

What primary and secondary connections does the application make? Those
are the key parameters. If the server listens on TCP 3101, create create
a Protocol Definition for inbound TCP 3101 and create a Server
Publishing Rule from that definition.

If there are secondary connections, or if the server actually makes
primary connections of its own, then create Protocol Rules to support
those.

HTH,
Tom

Subject: [isalist] Port Translation/Forwarding

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hello,
I have 2003SBS w/ISA sp1 and i am trying to add Blackberry Enterprise
Server (BES). The BES software needs to initiate outbound bidirectional
tcp/ip connections to an outside server listening port 3101, and the
proxy
must be transparent.
I think that i need to create a internal proxy address that can be
translated externally to the host on 3101.
Any suggestions on how this can be accomplished?

Thanks in advance,
Mike
