Iam using ip instead of name of the server so I think there is no need of internal DNS. Iam using ip in destination sets. In web publish rules iam using different ports to redirect to corresponding multuple sites. -----Original Message----- From: Abraham Martinez F [mailto:abrahamm@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, May 06, 2002 10:45 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Pls Help!! Importance: High http://www.ISAserver.org Ok,i mean that the Internal DNS (if you have) must resolve the Internal IP, your external DNS will never work whit your internal IP address, For example Ping 10.10.20.1 Reply from 10.10.20.1 If you type IPCONFIG /ALL IP: 10.10.20.X MASK: 255.255.255.0 GATEWAY: 10.10.20.1 DNS: 10.10.20.1 Then your Publishing Rules Point to the Internal IP address of your Web Server(You Don't need your External DNS(ISP) for anything in this case. Isn't that right? How can I have IP of web server in the external DNS? Thats internal to the the network. Pls explain Shobha -----Original Message----- From: Abraham Martinez F [mailto:abrahamm@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, May 03, 2002 4:32 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: RE: [isalist] Pls Help!!
