Hi Rami,

I tried an in place upgrade in my test lab with several different
configs and each time it was a disaster. I decided that in place upgrade
might not the best way to go.

YMMV,
Tom

Subject: [isalist] Off Topic- Machine Replacement

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hi All,

I am planning upgrade my winodws 2000 active directory + exchange 2000
machine to Windows 2003 + exchange 2003 server. I am also planning to
change
my complete server machine. So, could you advise me a good article for
such
an upgrade.

I can configure the new server manually, but I want to make this upgrade
automatically as much as possible. Since there are a number of users,
printers, dns records and dhcp configuration, I do not want to go
through
such a tedious work againg.

Tanks,
