    We've done all that.  Does anyone know if the version of Internet
Explorer on the ISA server have any affect on the browsing ability of
clients.  Mercnet seems to need IE 5.5.  Their program won't run on 5.0 or
6.0.  The ISA server has IE 5.

Did you create a packet filter or protocol rule for that PC?
Double-check your LAT for Mercnet entry.
Try using internet DNS server for PC, rather than internal DNS
