Just to elaborate a little
I have installed the console remotely on a lot of pc's, I have not
experienced any bugs with it. As to the reports, change the default
settings from ISA format to w3 format, map a drive to the isalog
directory , change the default directory path on the remote client to
the mapped ISALOG directory and you can run reports from any remote
machine that has the ISA management snapin installed. I also think that
you can use DFS for this as well, tho' I've not tried it, which would be
ideal in an AD environment.

Just my 2 cents worth. I agree totally. I've gotten it to work on my
non-isa
machine, but it is buggy and you don't have access to any of the reports
and
it locks up frequently.

David, do yourself a huge favor, use terminal service. Running the ISA
MMC
on a non ISA machine has bugs and is generally not worth it.
That being said, it is possible.
I found that if I "Run As" the administrator of the workstation, which
needs
to be the same password as the ISA server machine, then it should work.
But
remember that there are some bugs.

Hope that helps
Mark
