You should setup your net config as follows:

Internal NIC:   No default gateway

If your External NIC is 192.168.1.2 and your Router is 192.168.1.1 for example
use 192.168.1.1 as the Default Gateway on the external NIC.

ISA takes care of routing the requests.
Point your internal clients to the Internal NIC IP address for their Default
Gateway.

Eg. (for router using NAT)

Public IP(Router using NAT)192.168.1.1<------>192.168.1.2(ISA External NIC)

Eg. (for router using Non-NAT)

Public IP(Router Non-NAT)<------>2nd Public IP(ISA External NIC)

Subject: [isalist] IP Addressing for DSL connect

http://www.ISAserver.org

I have DSL connection with router connected to ISA server external NIC. I
use ISA server IP address 192.168.1.2 on internal NIC as the gateway on
clients. do i need to take into account the ISP's DSL router IP when I
configure external NIC or do i use WAN Gateway IP? Very basic network
topology. Thanks
RG
