I wouldn't have issue with HTML-formatted mails if it weren't the single 
favorite format for Joe Spammer and his kiddie-porn 
friends.
..never mind the wonderkind and their vir-worm-jackass code...

Nah, have a look at this opensource freeware:
http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/ works perfectly for me. Catches *all*
of my spam, and there are only one or two incorrect "suspects" a week.

And as for pictures in HTML - just don't allow your mail client to
download pictures from email.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. Personall, I don't think there's
anything wrong with HTML mail. What mail clients do you all use?
