That's interesting, C:\Program Files\Microsoft ISA Server\ISASummaries...I have about 39 objects SUMD2001####.ILS. If you don't have these sumd*.ils files I'm not sure what is causing them not to generate? -----Original Message----- From: Greg Foulks [mailto:greg.foulks@xxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2001 4:23 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Fw: Generated reports. http://www.ISAserver.org David, I do not see any sum* files in my installation directory. If there is nothing in the 'other folder' then when you generate a new report job, there will be not status listed in the report, until there is a sum* file. Once I moved the saved summaries 'in the ISA installation folder' to the 'other folder' I was successfully generating reports. -----Original Message----- From: Greg Foulks [mailto:greg.foulks@xxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2001 3:12 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Fw: Generated reports. http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Tom, Yes sir. I had a previous installation that generated all the reports I had setup. Before I was running Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports. After some problems with the system and following the advice from this list I rebuilt the entire server. Since then I have not been able to run reports. I have a daily report setup to run at midnight using the admin rights in the credentials. The reports never get generated, the status is blank and the next run time always updates to the next scheduled run time. I've been beating my head trying to figure this out. Plus I'm going cross eyed reading the raw logs everyday. ;-) Greg Foulks, MCP NewFound Technologies, Inc. http://www.nfti.com Email: greg.foulks@xxxxxxxx Voice: 614.318.5036 Fax: 614.318.5005 -----Original Message----- From: Thomas W. Seems like a number of us have posted this problem to the list. If I find something out I'll be sure to post it here for you and everyone else that is having the problem. I want it to run daily. The log files are in the default folder, but no reports kick off. There are text files being created, I can open them with notepad, but no reports in any of the folders. The weird thing is that the status updates daily that the next run date is tomorrow, but the past status of what did run is blank? Kirk kaptkirk@xxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter J. So a report for yesterday puts you one day "behind". If you are not using ISA format for your log files, they will be created using GMT, which may look to you like another day "behind". Hence, 2 days "behind". Hi All, Here is a quick little problem / question. I may not actually be a problem. My ISA reports get generated, and don't seem to have any errors. But the odd thing is they are 2 days behind. Anyone have any reasonable explanations for this ? It's not that big of a deal, but it would be nice to see the previous day's log with out waiting.
