couldn't this be a MTU problem, too?

        Hi Joel,

Sounds like a hardware problem, or a worm problem. I'd run
NetMon and see where the dropped packets are coming from.

Should I be getting 88% dropped packets on my external nic. This
is a test server and only has one user attached.

I am also still having problem with a few websites. (Dell,
Wal-Mart, Yahoo inbox) Sometimes they work sometimes they do not.
NsLookup works on all these sites.

Could this dropped packets issue be the cause or does this just
show that the firewall is working correctly.
