Hi Jim, Mark sent me his script. I modified it to run for my machines and did not have any issues. I've been working with him but so far my suggestions have not yielded good results for him. I use an SMTP relay machine located in my dmz. I also pointed to my public MX record mail machine on my external isa machine. My smtp relay machine is what is published on my external isa box. I looked at his mx record using nslookup seemed ok to me. Now on a similar note: When an alert is issued I setup a mail notification test on my external isa box and that worked but I also had to specifiy my mx record mail machine since my isa box is not in a domain. Thank you, Joseph ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Harrison" <jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "[ISAserver.org Discussion List]" <isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, June 04, 2004 5:32 PM Subject: [isalist] Re: CDOSYS and ISA server http://www.ISAserver.org Can you describe the PFs that you've defined? The fact that it works behind ISA is useful, but not entirely meaningful. The script just fails to send mail using CDOSYS when running locally on the ISA box. If I run it on a W2K box behind ISA then everything works. Any other ideas? Thanks.
