[insightsa] hot to save email attachments in the mac book pro

Hi all I was hoping someone could explain how to save an email attachment in a
mac book pro?
I have gone to the file menu and down arrowed to save attachments hit enter
then tab to OK but when I go to the down loads folder the attachment isn’t
there.
Any help is gratefully appreciated kind regards Jeff Parker
