Hi David,Thanks, that's the kind of real world info I need. Reading the Milestone FAQ, it says the Milestone gives in excess of 6 hours playback when listening to DAISY or MP3. This does not seem much?

I find that battery life is poor with Booksense and Pocket, better with theStream and very good with the Milestone 312. If the pocket or sense is not used for a few days, the power runs down, but this does not happen with theStream or Milestone. If you record from the machine, the pocket is the best. Playback is fairly similar on all machines. I cannot speak for the Olympus and these are only my views. Others may disagree. The Milestone, Pocket, BookSense, Stream, and the OlympusDM5 voice recorder. The unit will be mainly used for DAISY books. I'm currently reading the manual for the DM5, and not fully understanding the level of the voiceprompts. Battery life will be important, and the player might be turned offfor 3 or 4 days, and expected to have not drained power. Does this count out the BookSense? I've listened to the reviews of the BookSense and Pocket, but could I live with the Pocket's rewind and navigation limitations?
