thanx a lot for u'r long mail... felt as if i just underwent a =
crash course on linux hardware mgmt... well just kidding dude... hmm... =
yes my modem isn't lucky(or am i) to find a place in the list of =
"linux"able modems... so tell me the next alternate... well, yes i am =
running a shoe string budget... so think i will have to switch back to =
windows for getting connected... sad thing
and regarding the soundcard... well, am afraid am not able to =
catch up with what u said about configuring the sound card... i dont =
understand what a hardrake is... know it might be silly... but am just a =
newbie aint i...=20
so a few more lines on that wud be a great help... to tell more about my =
soundcard... i have a intel 815 board... which came with a built in =
soundcard... so think the chipset must be the default one that creative =
use for their cards... so dont think there is any deviation... due to =
this soundcard problem... my xmms player sings like madras-A station of =
all india radio!=20
mr.suraj... i just checked out that site u told me... well since =
i have a very slow processor( inside my head)... will take sometime to =
get things in... pls do tell me other sites with similiar stuff...
