Well, as far as I know, it never happened. Must be LinuxAsia, because
they're the ones who charge mega-bucks to attend some specialized tracks
(like sysadmin tracks et al) so they can afford to add that glitter.
Speakers at Linux-Bangalore bring their own laptops and whatever
material they need. Only the net connectivity, projector & hall are
provided by the organizers. They have a pretty strict talk-proposal
screening system.
Linux-Bangalore is not permitted to be commercial and deliberately so -
the sponsor/vendor stalls at the event are forbidden from selling
anything because it attracts commercial tax and lot of hassles for the
organizers. All hand-outs are free (CDs, stickers, t-shirts, etc). And,
I can assure you that there are very, very few girls ;-) That too, when
some company sends in its whole workforce in a bus or something.
The last time I attended

BangLinux was a sponsored event - by Wrox Publishers, if I'm not wrong.
It no longer exists. Linux-Bangalore is a different event, conducted by
the Bangalore Linux community. Sorry if I sound like some canvasser for
the event, but this is one of the few decent events we have, and we
cannot let it die due to apathy from the community. Apart from some
minor goof-ups (like late handing of delegate kits) it's a pretty
well-organized, enjoyable event (hey, you get a free t-shirt too!).

The user is in /etc/passwd, I changed Permission &
Group and Owner to User name (babu).
Still Iam getting the same error.
I even Deleted the User (babu) recreated. But facing
the same problem.

is ur home meant to be mounted over nfs...if so either the nfs mount
should be present or automount should be activated..

i think u would have got this problem after reinstalling ur OS keeping ur
/home partition intact. I faced the same problem when I did that. If yes,
just delete all those hidden files from root and also delete the user and
recreate the user with /home/babu as the home directory. This time all those
files will be created again and you wont have any problem. In any case I
think this should work.
