Hi,

i am using emacs in fedora core 3.

you could use yum to install php-mode (I would assume the same exists in
the yum repositories)

this will do for newly writing script. i want to indent existing php scripts.

how do i do code formatting in a existing php script? like setting
indentation automatically?

Start emacs
M-x php-mode (read Alt+x and type in php-mode <return>)
and there you go :-)
