Hi guru prasath,
you are right, there is a send later option, but we have to explictly 
select that send later.....
even i was thing that this feature should be there, as i found that 
unsent messages folder.
I made a wrong statement that offline sending is not there.....

you can configure separate smtp servers for each account. For this 
follow this step,


Tools > Account settings > Outgoing server (SMTP) > Advanced > Add.
here you can add multiple SMTP servers and further you can set a 
particular server as default.

Ya this is also , true, but there is some glitch in this one, Actually , 
what thunderbird does it that, it used default SMTP settings only, even 
if u add another smtp server in the advanced options, and you will never 
notice the diference,  but its not a good idea, although it will do the job.

Tools > Account settings > Select appropriate mail account > Server 
Settings > Advanced > SMTP tab > Select appropriate SMTP server for 
the current mail account
