i configured my thunderbird to server gmail and my company mail
successfully, and my default smtp server is my company's mail server, when i
am sending messages from my gmail account, its working fine, i am getting
responses to my gmail account only.
but when i am sending messages to ilugc server , the messages i send from
my gmail account are bouncing back,....
This used to happen when i was subscribed to ilugc with my company's mail
id, as our company;s mail server is running on dynamic ip, but why is it
bouncing now when i am replying from my gmail's smtp?
this is because, although i reply with my gmail's account, my default
smtp(company's mail server) is serving the mail on behalf of gmail, so my
mails are bouncing back, moreover, when i am sending mail using gmails
account, the mails are being delivered at flash... no connecting and all
mesasges are seen... this is coz, i guess its using the comapany;s mail
server.... but it never happend when i was using gmail with outlook, is my
conclusion right?

nope. if you set your account profile to send with a particular smtpserver
for a particular account, it will do so
