option of entering text in Gnome. I use only Chinese
with SCIM.
Under Keyboard Preferences -> Layout Options ->
Group/Shift Lock Behaviour,
I have chosen "Shift + Caps Lock changes group" to
toggle between US and "Tamil Unicode".
