ELCOT needs tamil keyboard layout 100% compitable with Remington layout.
It is the one the ordinary tamil typewriter has.
Because most of the government staff trained and certified by
typewriting institutes as has more experience on that.
So, they feel tough to adapt some modified version of it which the
tamil unicode has.
In windows, they pay for "vanavil", which gives the same functionality.
So, Is there any one compitable?
Or, ELCOT can pay to develop such a keyboard driver.?
Can any of use do it?
If can please contact Mr.Uma sankar.
If done, it is a greate contribution for the tamil community.
(If can, please write driver for phonetic also.
because a lot of people like me, who dont know tamil typing
can enjoy typing in tamil with phonetic layout :-)
