There's an effort by one team of developers. You can find it at

http://gnukhata.gnulinux.in. I haven't tried it for sometime now. It
wasn't stable when I last checked. But, they have released a stable
version since.

i get certification error.

also, where can i find the binary for linux? can i assume that avsap is
developed for end user who has knowledge only in finance.
