Hi,
I am having problems with starting a graphical display manager with Suse 10.1.
It was working properly, with all hardware well detected, until I clicked
K-Menu -> End Session. This left me with the console. Now, ever since that, I
have never been able to go into KDE again. Even the graphical login prompt does
not show up.
I tried the usual: startx, kdm, startkde, etc. But no use. It exits with error
codes saying that none of the hardware were detected. Come on -- I only clicked
"End Session" -- no way my hardware configuration was lost by that one action!
Can any of you tell me how to get my KDE up and running again? Plz... Otherwise
I have no other go than to painfully reinstall suse, patches, updates &
software.
