[Ilugc] Suggest a Wireless Internet Provider for Laptop

Tata Indicom also there.
I have ELCOT laptop with Ubuntu 8.04.
What about the speeds in wireless.
BSNL offers 2.4Mbps wireless Internet connection for 500/- Rs its unlimited
but its available only for particular area. I neither have a laptop
nor a proper signal coverage here
so i dont know much about this, search in Google for "bnsl 2Mbps wireless EVDO".
