Check your settings/values that you give in
adsl-setup. Is your ethernet, eth0 or eth1?
ifup eth1 up is working fine.
it fails in "ifup eth1 up" if it is dhcp connection
Let adsl-start handle this part. You shouldn't do this
manually.
