It has started throwing a javascript alert message stating "Please
use Internet Explorer for this site." I couldnt finish the
transaction through Firefox but succeeded in Opera. Fine happy? Not
really. It sends the user id and password in the URL - as a Query
String. I really don't know if these guys have any kind of QC or not.
This is the story on many Indian sites including Govt. e-Portals. They
just don't seem to get it inspite of giving feedback.
The worst part is that the clients (Airtel in this case) accept such
shoddy work from their vendors. It makes one wonder how we call
ourselves the "IT powerhouse" when a good majority of our IT folks
don't have a clue about the fundamentals.
PS: I have added this to the Delhi LUG - Hall of Shame.

Any stats how many eyeballs see this URL, I suspect the people who
ought to see it don't even know about it.
