Most DSL modems are unable to port forward when the
modem's internal web server is also running on the same
tcp 80 port.
To get this working, first change the port for your modem's
internal HTTP server (refer to your modem manuals for this
one). Once you do this, the port forward rule you have setup
on port 80 should automatically start working.
If that does not work, run apache on a different port eg 8080
and setup your DSL modem accordingly.
Btw, a simple way to test your setup is to visit validator.w3.org
and provide your IP as the URL to be validated. If you see your
apache page, then your config has worked.
