[Ilugc] Sendmail Problem - "no mailer defined"

So you have overwritten your sendmail.cf with a 0 byte file


m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

it says file missing /usr/share/sendmail-cf/m4/cf.m4
and i checked rpm -qa | sendmail it says sendmail-cf was missing (since i
dont have the CD )

You can download the sendmail-cf rpm off any redhat FTP server

all i want to know is whether sendmail-cf is available in RHEL 3 WS and if
there after installing it will the problem
get solved or there is something more what i am missing.

Assuming you have the sendmail.mc from which that sendmail.cf was 
built, and assuming some genius has not gone and edited sendmail.cf 
directly, and instead done what the sendmail people recommend - 
change sendmail.mc and then run m4 to generate sendmail.cf.
