[Ilugc] Request for suggestion : laptop VS netbook

I have an Acer laptop, which STRUGGLES[1] to boot once in a while.
According to their customer care, it's a normal behaviour :-O

and more BS - practically every programmer I know has acer, and all of
them (including me) have had no problems at all. My power adapter failed
after 2 years, but thats it.


Okay. I shared MY experience. May be it's a problem with the particular
model I have (Aspire 5745). Or may be, you and those whom you know using
Acer, have been lucky.

And where else can you get models with
linux (no doubt linpus, but still linux)?


Of course, that's a nice thing, but that doesn't have anything to do with
quality of hardware.
