Morality and Legality are very different. We need to operate within theestablished laws. As the laws are bad, FSF and other organisations are
lobbying to change them. Until they are changed, we need to adopt a
practical approach within the boundaries of the law.
Best thing is to patent it and then transfer ownership to FSF.
Before advocating this as a option, have you even talked to FSF first on
whether it is possible to transfer patents to them and whether they are
willing to accept?
