[Ilugc] Problem KPPP - Mandirva LE 2005

Hi

With Mandriva LE 2005, I am able to connect to my VSNL dial up using KPPP as 
root without any problem. But when I am launching KPPP as a user, it stops 
with initiating modem and get terminating. Since it is working perfectly 
when launched as root, I am not suspecting any problem with modem, pppd or 
ISP. What could be the other cause? Was it due to any permission problem? If 
so how to solve it?

Any suggestion from members will be appreciated.
