on GPLv3 on August 23-24, 2006 at IIM, Bangalore are

Thanks to IIM, Bangalore, FSUG, Bangalore, members of
deeproot.co.in for organizing the conference. I had a
good time.
The issues discussed on day one were on DRM, Trusted
(we call it "treacherous") computing, patent
retaliation, tivolisation etc. Day two had discussion
on FLOSS in business, and FLOSS in education.
People had come from different parts of the globe.
There was representation from Free Software Initiative
of Japan (http://www.fsij.org) - Niibe Yutaka,
Masayuki Hatta, and Dr. Tashiro
(http://www.ipa.go.jp).
I did purchase a badge which had the GNU logo and FSF
name on it.
