Seriously, has anyone tried it?  I suspect after enough damage like
removal of shared libraries rm might start complaining about not
finding "stuff" it needs to do it's job.


yeah - i recall of an incident  where a DBA  tried rm -rf /$ORACLE_HOME and
the variable was not set :)  - the rest is history :)
