We all know IE still hold 85% users around the world. Though the % may
have shrunk a bit after firefox but it is still substantial.
Are you guys aware of any effort that is been carried out in open source
world to generate a tool that can automatically migrate html pages that
run only on IE to mozilla compatible ones? Also, is mozilla planning to
support few of the dhtml that only IE currently supports like right
click, drag and drop etc?
From my own project, we have developed web portal that currently open
on in IE. We would like to make them mozilla compatible but since will
involve lot of manual work (therefore resources, thereofre money..) it
is been shelved for now.
shall we all start one if nothing is currently done ;) ?
