 Inform you on what exactly? I thought the questions were already clearly
 answered on that thread.


I think the answer was that one is NOT obligated to share the source
with third parties. KG kept insisting that it IS obligatory! Reading
2.a. of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COPYING, DISTRIBUTION AND
MODIFICATION of GPL v2:

"You must cause any work that you distribute or publish, that in whole
or in part contains or is derived from the Program or any part
thereof, to be licensed as a whole at no charge to all third parties
under the terms of this License."

I think KG is right.
