Yes, Cracking is criminal and a violation of law. Unfortunately, books
published especially the one "Ethical Hacking" by Ankit Fadia(tremendously
outdated) tend to misconstrue the meaning of ethical hacking. Also, these so
called "Hacking institutes" which give courses on "hacking" are a shitload
of stuff. I was shocked to even see such adds for selling books and CD's on
"learn to hack" in LFY itself. All these tend to soil the real meaning,
summarized amazingly well by ERS as " *?hacker?, most having to do with
technical adeptness and a delight in solving problems and overcoming limits"

Yes, we probably should. But we wanted to reach out to a large audience of
students who have no clue about security. The next time around though, it
would be changed maybe to "Security contest" or "Challenge in Application
layer Security" or so.
