[Ilugc] Re: [OT] BSNL DataOne connection problem

For the past two days, I haven' been able to connect
with BSNL DataOne. Has anyone else been having this
problem?
Well, I've been having trouble over the past two days too - it would
connect only after repeatedly trying to connect over a period of 45
minutes to an Hour... Today also, I managed to connect only after an
hour or so... When I spoke to a guy in the telephone exchange, he did
mention that their servers were getting overloaded now and then and
that it may not connect because of that... I however dont see any
proper error messages since the actual dialling is done by my router -
which only says - 'Unable to Connect to the Server'... I should
probably look around for more detailed logs or some such on my
router's web interface...
He is now eager to learn
to setup pppoe on GNU/Linux for better
troubleshooting!
