I use touchtel connection , 995pack, 350 mb download xentrix adsl usb modem
works fine in linux (Eciadsl driver & kernel 2.4.x). Doesnt work in in
kernel 2.6.x though

My tariff is 995 per month, 128kbps, 350 MB free download (up and down).
(Well, it is a different matter altogether, that ever since I went
Linux, I haven't been able to hook my comp on to the net, and hence,

Touchtel charges minimum 2495/- per month, though. Plus service tax
for 1.25 Gb transfers at 512 kbps. You pay extra for more usage/transfers.

My touchtel provided dsl modem terminates with ethernet and is setup to
work as a network bridge. I have not tried the touchtel USB modems
under Linux (which I suspect will be a major pain, getting the my
earlier Dishnet USB modem to work was also a huge headache).
Btw, I heard rumour that Touchtel is planning on abandoning the USB
modems in favour of the ethernet ones. Good news for linux-ers.
