That's how they'd have got 2GB.
FYI the guy is using linux, doing no more than downloading standard
updates and patches (which on slackware tend to be few and well thought
out) ...
Try downloading a lot of mail over imap, just for instance. I download
close to 40..50 megs of work related email (all of it spam, given that
my job is spam filtering) every day :)
