I'm much intersted in joining the ILUG family.
I'm not at all a Linux guru, not even have worked in
Linux yet.
But I'm intersted to Learn & work in Linux.
Apart from coding, i enjoy astronomy & physics..
My interest in it grew when my client insisted to use
Linux/Unix and NOT windows!
Now i have a problem. Being a VB developer, How do i
go about developing windows application in Linux?
I haven't worked in Linux/Unix environment before.
This medical imaging project involves socket
programming & imaging fundas.
Any good front-end available for Linux?
Which front-end should i use? Where should i start?
Some friends recommend GTK, Tcl-TK.. hmm.. I'm
confused on that :(
Could any one suggest on this?
